We invite farmers interested in growing flax and industrial hemp to collaborate with us. As part of our operations, we purchase flax and hemp straw and offer cooperation under two models:
In this model, we enter into an agreement with the farmer for the cultivation of flax or hemp, under which we commit to purchasing the straw on the terms specified in the contract. The main purpose of the cultivation is straw production. We provide advice on variety selection, agrotechnical treatments, and other cultivation aspects to help achieve the highest possible yield of straw meeting our quality standards. If other products (e.g. seeds) are generated during production, the farmer may sell them independently to obtain additional income.
In this model, farmers who cultivate flax or hemp for seed or other purposes can offer to sell the straw as a by-product of their main production. We then sign a contract under which we agree to purchase the straw on predefined terms. In this case, straw is considered a secondary product, and the farmer focuses on maximizing yields of the primary crop.
In both models, a critical aspect of cooperation is delivering straw that meets the required quality parameters to our facility located in Tarnawatka-Tartak, Lublin Voivodeship (Poland). The delivery cost is borne by the farmer and is taken into account in the purchase price.
Contracts are signed annually between November and April, and their detailed terms are specified in advance each season.
