Build not just a product, build its story.
By choosing Strumber, you naturally weave sustainability into the DNA of your brand.
It’s a statement that your company looks ahead, understands the needs of our planet, and invests in trust that grows from solid foundations.
Fast Harvest
Strumber is made from the stalks of hemp and flax, a fast-growing annual plants ready for harvest in just 90–150 days, and possible to cultivate twice a year.
That’s a revolutionary difference compared to oak, which takes up to 80 years to mature.
The Low-Impact Plant of the Future
Annaul plants such as e.g. hemp naturally support regenerative agriculture.
It thrives without pesticides thanks to its resistance to diseases and pests, and requires up to 50% less water than traditional crops.
It even grows well on poor-quality soils (classes V and VI), helping protect fertile land from degradation.
Hemp can also play a key role in soil restoration, bringing life back to areas damaged by industrial activity.
Designed for Circularity
In producing Strumber, we use hemp and flax straw, a part of the plant that was once overlooked.
Instead of being burned or left on fields, it’s now transformed into a high-value raw material for our innovative composite.
This approach ensures efficient use of resources while creating new income opportunities for farmers.
Negative Carbon Footprint
The production of Strumber hemp goes beyond neutrality - it’s carbon negative, and we’re proud of it.
Hemp is a natural CO₂ powerhouse: one hectare absorbs up to 25 tons of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.
For your project, that means:
→ Strumber Hemp 750: 1 m³ of dry mass absorbs 1,407 kg of CO₂
→ Strumber Hemp 900: 1 m³ of dry mass absorbs 1,689 kg of CO₂
In Harmony with the Ecosystem
Strumber takes care of what matters most, your health and the planet’s. Our hemp lumber is biodegradable, meaning that after its long lifecycle, it safely returns to nature without leaving a trace.
