By using only what is necessary, the design follows a low-impact, zero-waste philosophy. Every surface and edge of HempBean reveals the raw beauty of hemp’s fiber structure, proving that ecological responsibility and refined aesthetics can coexist.
HempBean was designed with sustainability and efficiency at its core. The entire table is cut from a single sheet of Strumber Hemp, which minimizes production waste and maximizes the use of material. This approach not only embodies the principles of circular design but also allows the furniture to be produced as a flat-pack, making it lightweight and easy to transport while maintaining durability. The assembly process is simple and intuitive, emphasizing smart design over excess complexity.
HempBean has been presented at 4 Design Days 2025, the Warsaw Home 2025 fair, and during the 33rd Final of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (WOŚP), where it took part in a charity auction. At each of these events, the table drew attention for its elegant simplicity and its story of transforming renewable hemp fibers into functional, sustainable design.
