As part of our cooperation with The Polish Chamber of Commerce of Furniture Manufacturers (OIGPM), we delivered a conference table top made from Strumber Hemp. This element has become part of the interior of the newly established Furniture Industry Skills Center (BCU) in Różanystok - a space created to educate future professionals for the furniture industry.
The table top, measuring 250 × 90 cm, was produced as a three-layer, cross-laminated panel. Strumber Hemp - a material made from industrial hemp and designed for furniture and interior applications - was used in its production.
The Furniture Industry Skills Center in Różanystok is a modern education and training facility equipped with an advanced machinery park, including automated solutions for the production of case furniture and upholstered furniture. The center responds to real market needs by focusing on practical education for young people in areas such as machine operation, upholstery, sewing, and furniture manufacturing.
The presence of Strumber in this space is not accidental. A material made from annual plants aligns naturally with the idea of connecting education with industry and introducing solutions that address contemporary technological and environmental challenges. The fact that Strumber has become part of the equipment of a place where future specialists will be trained is, for us, an important signal of trust and of the industry’s readiness to work with new materials.
