Presence at one of the most important industry events in Poland

From September 9–12, 2025, we participated in DREMA 2025 in Poznań — one of Europe’s key events for the woodworking and furniture industries. During the fair, we presented our material made from annual plants — Strumber Flax and Strumber Hemp. This innovative alternative to wood responds to the growing need for sustainable solutions within the sector.

Strumber as an alternative to wood

The trade fair brought together manufacturers of machinery, technologies, components, and materials used in woodworking and furniture production. It served as an excellent platform for showcasing environmentally responsible trends, innovative solutions, and new directions in industrial design.

At our stand, visitors could experience Strumber Flax and Strumber Hemp, materials designed to meet the market’s demand for ecological, durable, and visually appealing alternatives. Annual plants absorb more CO₂ than forests, making them perfectly aligned with the principles of sustainable development and the goal of reducing pressure on natural forest resources.

We demonstrated that materials which, at first glance, look like solid wood can in fact be made from plants such as flax and industrial hemp. This surprising result drew strong interest and sparked many questions about the properties, applications, and production process of Strumber.

Meetings, conversations, and inspiration

Participation in the fair provided an excellent opportunity to connect with manufacturers, designers, and representatives of the furniture industry who are looking for new material alternatives. During the event, we discussed the potential of Strumber, its strength and aesthetic qualities, and the range of applications in which it can replace traditional wood.

Visitors could see for themselves a material that matches the strength of conventional resources while offering a unique, distinctive design — proof that sustainable innovation can go hand in hand with beauty and performance.
