Warsaw Home & Contract 2025

Presentation of Material from Annual Plants

From October 22–25, 2025, we participated in the Warsaw Home & Contract fair at PTAK Warsaw Expo, where we had the opportunity to present Strumber® material to representatives of the design industry, architects, and investors. The event served as an important platform for dialogue about ecological innovation, responsible design, and the future directions of the market’s development.

Polish Design Connects – “Co-Creation” Exhibition

Furniture made from Strumber® material was featured as part of the exhibition “Co-Creation”, organized by the Association of Industrial Designers (SPFP). The exhibition showcased the design process — from the first concepts to implemented products — presenting designers, their inspirations and working methods, as well as examples of designer–entrepreneur collaboration. The HempStool, made using Strumber Hemp, drew visitors’ attention with its minimalist form and the unique texture of the material.

Poland Design Festival – “ReHemptation” Collection by Husarska

At the same time, during the Poland Design Festival, the ReHemptation collection by Husarska Design Studio was presented. The furniture made from Strumber® demonstrated that annual plants can serve as a real, durable, and aesthetically appealing alternative to hardwood. The exhibition provided an opportunity to discuss the properties of the material, its processing capabilities, and its potential for future implementations. Visitors could see, among others, the HempSolo table, HempStool stools, HempSquare bench, and HempBean tables.

A Discussion on the Future of the Industry and New Directions

The event also featured a lecture by Jadwiga Husarska-Sobina, focused on the creation of the ReHemptation collection and the development trends in the furniture industry. Conversations around ecological materials highlighted the growing awareness and need for sustainable solutions.

Expanding the Reach of Strumber®

The presence of Strumber® in two distinct areas of the fair allowed us to reach a wide audience — from designers and design students to manufacturers and investors. The opportunity to experience the material firsthand was, for many visitors, the highlight of the event.

We sincerely thank everyone for the numerous conversations and the great interest in this new category of material derived from annual plants.
